The Chairman of Anambra State Host Communities of Nigeria Producing Oil and Gas (HOSTCOM), Chief Victor Emeka, has assured of using resources accruable to the benefits of the communities.
Emeka gave the assurance during the inauguration of 21 local government area coordinators and their executives in Awka, Anambra State capital.
According to him, the state government and officials of HOSTCOM had made efforts in actualising the dream of listing Anambra State among the oil producing states in the country and promised to do everything to ensure that all communities benefit from the struggle.
He also commended the state governor, Chief Willie Obiano, for ensuring that the state was listed among the oil producing states in the country.
The National President of HOSTCOM, Chief Benjamin Stylet, called on Governor Obiano to urgently establish the Anambra State oil and mineral producing commission.
