Hoodlums have killed an 80-year-old woman, Madam Felicia Aderibigbe, at Ore in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Daily Trust gathered that the octogenarian was murdered at the weekend in her farm located in the constain area of Ore town.
It was learnt that the old woman, who had left home for farming, had been missing for some days before her corpse was finally found by a search party at the edge of the farm.
One of the neighbours who joined the search party, Adekunle Ishola, said the suspects must have raped Madam Aderibigbe to death due to the position her corpse was found inside the farm.

Ishola, who revealed that there had been cases of rape in the community in the past weeks, stated that the sad incident had been reported to security agents.
“It’s a sad incident and in recent times in the community, many women could no longer go to farm alone in order not to fall victim,” he added.
A local hunter in the community told Daily Trust that a suspect had already been arrested in relation to the murder case.
The hunter, who did not want his name mentioned in the press, said the suspect was apprehended in collaboration with the youths of the town.
“We nabbed one person, who claimed he is a palm wine tapper because we found the mobile phone of the woman in his possession and we have handed him over to the police,” he said. The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Ondo State, Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, confirmed the incident to journalists in a chat.
She said one of the suspects identified as Mima was arrested and detained.
