Hoodlums in the early hours of Friday invaded a community bank, Lapo, at Lokogoma, Phase II area, in Lokoja, Kogi State, and stole an unspecified sum of money.
A staff of the bank, who craved anonymity, said the “robbers” came to the bank which shared the same building with a political party and broke in through a window and the ceiling, broke the vault and went away with the money.

The command’s spokesman, SP William Aya, said, “It was a case of housebreaking and theft. The thieves carted away the sum of N21,910.”
