Hoodlums loot, destroy Abia dental center

Hoodlums have destroyed and looted equipment worth millions of naira at Abia State Dental Center and Primary Health Authority Office all in Aba South Local Government Area.

The hoodlums carted away vaccines, X-ray machines, sterilizers, air conditioners, fans and other equipment.

Reacting, the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, appealed to those who looted the items to return them within seven days to the relevant offices or call the Special Adviser to the Governor on Health Matters, Mr Joe Chinwendu with information on the location of the items.

Kalu disclosed that most of the equipment stolen are trackable and will certainly be recovered in due course if not voluntarily returned.

He warned members of the public against buying or using any of the stolen items or procure such items from unauthorised persons to avoid getting into trouble with the law.
