Hoodlums kill Okada man, steal bike

The corpse of a man suspected to be a commercial motorcycle rider has been found by the roadside near the General Yakubu Gowon Lodge, GRA, in Bida LGA of Niger State.

The spokesman of the Niger State Police Command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, who disclosed this, said, “On 30/08/2024 at about 1700hrs, information was received at A Division, Bida, that the body of a young man was found lying by the roadside along Project Puarters, Bida, suspected to be lifeless. Operatives moved to the scene, took the body to the nearest hospital where he was confirmed dead and later identified as Gonna Alhaji Gebu, aged 26, of Edozhigi village, Lemu, with bruises on his face and legs.
