 Two vigilantes operating in Dutsen-Makaranta in the FCT were on Thursday morning attacked by hoodlums who inflicted injuries on them.

The victims, Anthony Ajibade and Dogo Morris, were attacked by the suspects said to be seven in number in their office around 3am after a patrol operation.

Our reporter came across the two victims at the Kubwa General Hospital yesterday where they were rushed to after the attack.

Speaking about the incident, one of the vigilantes, Ajibade, said the attackers initially used wood planks to attack them before resorting to machetes as they were attempting to escape from the attack.

He said, “They warned us that they would return at any given time.”

Contacted, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Kubwa Owner Occupier, CSP Hussaini Abdullahi, said the matter was yet to be reported to the division.
