It is called “ganyen mangoro” in the north of Nigeria, and those who have used it attest to its power to tame sugar running wild in our bodies.
Place mango leaves in a pot and pour in water until water tops the leaves. Bring the pot’s content to boil and leave to stand for some minutes.
Sieve the content into a jar to get ‘ganyen mangoro’. Drink the sieved liquid morning and night.
