Hisbah arrests 57 for immoral acts in Jigawa

The Jigawa State Hisbah Command said it has arrested 13 persons for engaging in immoral sexual acts in Wadugun and Chai Chai in Ringim Local Government Area of the state.

The command, in a statement through its spokesman, Muhammad Sale Korau, said the agency confiscated about 400 bottles of beer and also nabbed 37 “free women” and seven men in Gada village in Kazaure LGA.

Korau noted that the confiscated beer, as well as the accused persons, had since been handed over to police divisions in the respective LGAs.
