HEKAN Church trains 2,000 youths against hate speech

The United Church of God in HEKAN Church has commenced training of over 2,000 youths on the dangers of hate speech and political thuggery. 

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the annual convention of gospel missionary singers, the President of the church, Reverend Amos Kiri, said the programme was meant to remind youths of the need to love and live in peace with everyone.

 Also in a remark at the event, the director of HEKAN Gospel Missionary Organization (HGMO), Johanna Galadima, stressed that being rebellious against constituted authorities was an act of indiscipline.
