The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF), Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita said addressing security challenges at the grassroots will improve the overall security of the nation.
She said this yesterday in Abuja while receiving members of the technical committee of the joint committee of Senate and House on Interior in her office.
Mrs. Oyo-Ita said “We are all very concerned about the security crisis in the country, and we know that unless rural areas, which are under LGAs are secured, the rest of the country cannot be secured.”
Chairman of the committee, Senator Usman Bayero said his committee would work with relevant stakeholders in rural areas towards addressing the challenges of insecurity in some parts of the country.
