The management of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, has refuted rumours that the singer left a will.

This was after Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, stated in a recent interview that his son prepared a will before his death.

However, his management described the assertion as “false and misleading” in a statement posted on the late singer’s Instagram page on Monday.

“No members of Mohbad’s management or his lawyer have communicated the existence of a will or any such thumb-printed document (as has recently been FALSELY reported) to any member of the family or the public,” the statement said in part.

“We would like to clarify unequivocally that if any such document did exist, it would have been duly registered with the Probate Registry. We therefore plead with everyone to refrain from sharing false and misleading statements like this.

“All accounts owned and controlled by Imole during his lifetime were immediately put on a Post No Debit order on September 12th, 2023, this order is still in effect,” the management stated.

It added that the accounts “will be properly handed over to the family once the internal dispute is resolved.”
