Alhaji Abdullahi Osana Hayatuddeen has been appointed as the new Osana of Keana, Keana Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
The state Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy, Ahmad Tijjani Aliyu, made this known yesterday after the meeting of council of chiefs.
He said following the death of the late Osana of Keana Senator Emmanuel Elayo, the traditional selectors of Keana chose Abdullahi Hayatuddeen as the new Osana.
Aliyu said Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, after due consultation with the state traditional councils, approved the appointment of Hayatuddeen.
Until his appointment, Hayatuddeen was the director of finance in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Judicial Commission in Abuja.
