Have we lost our culture?

We have, overtime emulated the ways of the whites. That would have been fine if we chose to emulate their good and productive culture rather than the ones that demean our culture as Nigerians. But that is not the case.

The case of the 46-year-old white woman set to marry a 23-year-old young guy from Kano is really sad. How did we get to this point? Why would we, as a people, accept such a proposal? Everyone wants to get money by any means necessary. And that might be our doom as a nation.

It is more appalling that the parents of the boy see nothing wrong in accepting this situation. We really need to be focused so we do not lose our way as a people.
