The Kano State Police Command has appointed DSP Abdullahi Haruna as its new Public Relations Officer (PRO).
DSP Abdullahi Haruna was born on 2nd February, 1984 in Kiyawa LGA of Jigawa State. He is a graduate of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi, where he obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Mathematics Education with Second Class Upper Division.
He did his National Youth Service in Abia State. He holds Masters Degree in Mathematics (MSc) from Kano State University of Science and Technology, Wudil.
DSP Haruna was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force as Cadet ASP on 9th July, 2012 at the Nigeria Police Academy Wudil, Kano.
After completing training, he was posted to Kano State Police Command on 24th January, 2014.
He has served in Wudil Division as Divisional Traffic Officer (DTO), Area Command Metro and Kano Central Area Command as O/C Surveillance, respectively, until his new posting as the Commands’ spokesman on January 23, 2019.
