A total of 150 golfers are expected to tee-off the second edition of the Harmony Open tournament on Saturday, November 11 at the Ilorin Golf Club.
The two day event, which is under the auspices of the Ilorin Golf Club, is expected to feature golfers from across the country.
The Chairman of the Club’s Board of Trustees (BoT), Hon. Justice Lambo Akanbi (Rtd), has said arrangements have been put in place to ensure a smooth event and hospitable experience for participants.
Other members of the BoT are Engr. Yusuf Lanre Sagaya, Otunba Olusola Adekanola, Pharm. Layi Maliki and Dr. Funsho Abogunrin.

Captain of the Club, Luqman Yahaya, said the BoT members are not only pooling their resources together but also throwing their weight behind the event as he said they have all invited some of their friends from outside the state to grace the occasion.
“The competition, which is billed to run from November 10 to 11, on the tricky Ilorin Golf Course will feature over 150 players in several categories, who have signified interest to participate in the event”, he added.
He said Friday, November 10 is the arrival date and practice day for those who will be playing in the tournament which tees-off on Saturday.
