Hardship: APC groups distance self from Planned Protest Against Tinubu’s administration

The Confederation of All Progressive Congress (APC) Support Groups has dissociated itself from an upcoming protest orchestrated by the Amalgamated APC Support Groups, seemingly directed against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Engr. Kailani Muhammad, the Director-General of the Confederation of APC Support Groups, revealed this during a press conference in Kaduna.

While emphasizing their commitment to President Tinubu’s 8-point Renewed Hope Agenda, he urged security agencies to stay vigilant, cautioning that such protests might disrupt public peace.

Under his leadership, the support group, comprising over 180,000 registered and non-registered members, stands firmly behind President Tinubu. Dr. Kilani, formerly the DG of the Amalgamated APC Support Groups, emphasized President Tinubu’s positive strides in repositioning the country.

He stressed the need for unwavering support instead of engaging in protests, stating, “All we need in this country is what will stabilize it; enough of protest.”

Dr. Kilani also highlighted the importance of fostering positive engagements with Nigerian citizens, focusing on the country’s positive developments and challenges.

Commending President Tinubu’s recent decision to cancel a policy automatically deducting 40% from federal universities’ internally generated revenues, he expressed appreciation for the President’s responsiveness to the struggles faced by these institutions.
