There is going to be a television series based on the story of Hanifa Abubakar, the five-year-old girl whose school proprietor abducted and murdered in Kano. The television series ought to air from next month.
The film’s producer, Ali Sa’id said that the major motivation behind the film is to enlighten parents on how to be more cautious about their kids’ safety ā a reaction to Hanifa’s tragic story.

“We also intend to immortalize the memory of Hanifa through the film,” Sa’id added.
It was gathered that some parents have cheerfully welcomed the idea, as some have volunteered their daughters to take the role of Hanifa in the movie.
Hanifa, a five-year-old pupil of Nobel Kids School at Kwanar Dakata in the Nasarawa Local Government Area of Kano State, was kidnapped and killed by the proprietor of the school, Abdulmalik Tanko and two others.
