The Golden Arrows of Nigeria have been drawn against Angola, host Morocco and Kenya in Group B of the Africa Men’s Handball Nations Cup which will be staged in Morocco from January 13, 2022.

Morocco’s best position in the Nation’s Cup is third position which they got in 2006 as they have steadily finished amongst the top 7 in the last five championships.
On paper, Kenya may be Nigeria’s easiest opponent as they have participated in the nation’s cup thrice with their best finish being 9th place which they attained in 2004 in Egypt.
The Nigeria Men Senior Handball team is currently on intensive camping in Abuja ahead of the championship with several of the 30 invited players already in camp.
The 30 players arrived Abuja for camping on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 after the executive board of the Handball Federation of Nigeria approved the list of players for preparation for the Nation’s Cup.
