It commenced with the dissolution of the outgoing executive committee and followed with the election and inauguration of a new executive committee.
Mrs. Usman said her achievement during her first tenure was reviving the association “which was more or less at the verge of death.”
She said she and her team hope to publish an ANA anthology, which has not been published in the last ten years. She added that they would engage in more school outreaches to build a reading and writing culture in children.
“One of our greatest challenge now is the need for an office, this would enable us not to hold private meetings in public places; our documents will be kept together and safe in a specific location.”
The president encouraged young and old prospective authors to be part of ANA to learn more about being an author.
