The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has extended the deadline for the payment of the Hajj 2024 fare and called on intending pilgrims in the state to take advantage of the new registration deadline of January 31 to make their N4.5m deposit.
The agency also said the move followed the decision of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to extend the Hajj 2024 deposit date.
The Executive Chairman of the agency, Malam Salihu S. Abubakar, made this known in a statement signed by its spokesman, Yunusa Mohammed Abdullahi, in Kaduna on Wednesday.

Malam Salihu called on all intending pilgrims in the state to seize the opportunity and complete their Hajj deposit before the new deadline expires.
“The extension provides valuable time for those who have not registered to fulfill their dream of performing Hajj,” he said.
He reminded intending pilgrims that registration can only be done through designated registration officers in all 23 LGAs of the state.
He said to initiate the process, intending pilgrims should obtain a customized bank teller from the officers before making their deposit.
He said the agency is committed to providing all necessary support and guidance to ensure a smooth and successful Hajj experience for all intending pilgrims and urged everyone considering Hajj 2024 to quickly make use of the extended timeframe.
