The Executive Secretary of the Kaduna Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Dr Yusuf Yakubu Arrigasiyyu, has called on registered intending pilgrims for this year’s hajj to update their payments to meet up with the N2.5 million minimum amount for a seat before February 20.
He stated this during a meeting with registration officers from the 23 local government areas of the state.
Dr Yusuf said it would help guarantee the slot offered to the pilgrims and enable early remittance of the money to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
He urged the registration officers to be law abiding and fair in discharging their responsibilities.
