The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has successfully airlifted over 1,600 intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for this year’s Hajj pilgrimage.
The latest batch, consisting of 515 pilgrims, departed on Sunday via Max Air, the official carrier for Kaduna pilgrims.
Yunusa Muhammad, the Public Relations Officer of the agency, made this announcement in a statement.
He said this brings the total number of pilgrims transported from the state to 1,612.

He said the intended pilgrims scheduled for the fourth flight are currently undergoing screening at the Hajj transit camp in Mando, Kaduna, and are set to depart today.
