Gwagwalada council to partner private waste collectors

The Director of Environment, Gwagwalada Area Council, Mrs Eunice Asubiojo, says plans are underway to partner private waste collectors for effective waste evacuation in the council.

Asubiojo told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Gwagwalada, that the partnership was to ensure efficient and sustainable waste collection for a cleaner environment.

She explained that the private waste collectors would not be allowed to operate independently; rather they would work in collaboration with the council.
