The Emir of Gusau in Zamfara State, Alhaji Ibrahim Bello, has expressed hope on the return of normalcy to the areas affected by incessant banditry in the state.
Speaking at the Nigerian Army super camp in Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State, said, “From available information, peace is gradually returning to communities afflicted by the menace of armed banditry and cattle rustling.

“This is a positive development.
“People are beginning to sleep with their two eyes closed and farmers are returning to farms and things are normalizing.
“This is as a result of the military operations being conducted. We are highly grateful to the Nigerian Army.”
Alhaji Ibrahim Bello said the set up of the army’s super camp was very impressive and he was sure that the army are up to the task of eliminating armed banditry and cattle rustling in the region.
“I can tell the army to count on the support of traditional rulers in this onerous task of eliminating criminals.
“We are so delighted and motivated and we are grateful to the military and the governments in bringing the operational initiative,” he added.
