Gunshots, teargas greet #ENDSARS protest in Jos

Vigilantes have been helping push them off the road.

The #EndSARS protest in Jos forged ahead despite moves to disrupt it.

Police fired shots and tears to disperse the crowd of youths who massed on Yakubu Gowon road in Jos.

A video emerged showing protesters scampering, while the sound of gunshots sounded in the distance out of the camera view.

The protesters could be heard shouting, “they are shooting at us”.
