Gunmen break into Yinka Ayefele’s radio station during live broadcast

Gunmen on Sunday morning invaded an Ibadan-based radio station, Fresh FM, which belongs to Yinka Ayefele, a singer.

The gunmen, who were said to be three in number, invaded the radio station around 6:30am and robbed the staff members of their laptops, phones and other valuables.

Shedding more light on the incident, a staff member of the station, Kenny Agunmiloro, wrote on Twitter that none of them members was hurt during the attack.

He wrote, “Nowhere is safe again, not even radio stations are spared again in the porous level of insecurity in the country.”

Kenny Agunmiloro further confirmed that the staff were robbed of their phones, laptops and ATMs by a three-man gang.
