The Akwa Ibom State Police Command yesterday confirmed the killing of another officer attached to the Mobile Force in Essien Udim Local Government Area of the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Odiko Macdon, Sgt Obadia Eli, attached to Mopol 57 Ukana, was accosted and killed on his way to his beat.

He said the hoodlums also attacked two of its outposts at Mkpantak in Essien Udim and Ikot Odon in Abak Local Government Areas that were not operational.
Macdon said the police would keep the state secure despite the repeated and unprovoked attacks.
