Gunmen have reportedly killed four villagers in two LGAs of Benue State.
Three of the victims were killed along Daudu-Ortese road in Guma LGA, while the remaining one was killed in Okpokwu Ward in Obi LGA.
Guma LGA Security Adviser, Christopher Waku, told our correspondent on telephone that, “They (gunmen) stood on the Daudu-Ortese road. They killed two persons yesterday at about 5pm and shot one person who is receiving treatment at the BSUTH.

“On Friday, they killed one person in the morning hours. All together, they killed three people.”

Police spokeswoman in the state, SP Catherine Anene, did not respond to calls or a text message to confirm the incidents.
