Gunmen have again killed three people who were returning from a funeral ceremony on the Iordye-Gbajimba road in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State.
The incident involving the three victims, two men and a woman, was said to have occurred about 5pm on Saturday.

Nathaniel Ikyur, spokesman of Governor Samuel Ortom, said the victims were riding on a motorcycle when they were ambushed and shot dead by suspected herdsmen.
He said soldiers of Operation Whirl Stroke (OWS) recovered the bodies and deposited the corpses at the Gbajimba General Hospital in Guma LGA.
The police spokesperson in the state, SP Catherine Anene, did not respond to calls or an SMS sent to her telephone over the incident.
