There was pandemonium at Maigiginya community in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, following the killing of two persons by gunmen in the early hours of Tuesday.
Daily Trust gathered that two other residents were injured and are currently receiving treatment at a government owned hospital in the state.

A member of the Civilian JTF resident in the community told Daily Trust that the gunmen also broke into shops and looted foodstuffs and other items before fleeing the community, adding that the victims were buried according to Islamic rites yesterday.
The state Police Public Relations officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige, confirmed the incident, saying the command had deployed its personnel to the area to carry out an investigation.
Kaduna State Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, while confirming the incident said Governor Nasir El-Rufai had been briefed on the attack on Maiginginya village and gave the names of those killed as Nasiru Yahaya and Isah Bature while Magaji Goma and Zurkhalaini Alhassan sustained injuries.
