Gunmen kill 1, kidnap another in Delta

Gunmen have shot dead a man, Louia Saturday Agboma, and abducted another in Ethiope-West LGA of Delta State.

Daily Trust Saturday gathered that the deceased (teenager) was on Friday shot at close range and left in the pool of his own blood in Mosogar community. 

A source said, “The gunmen attempted to abduct the first victim at the entrance of his compound on his return from an outing but he resisted their moves and in the process he was shot dead. 

“The one who was kidnapped is the son of one Mr Peter Akpoyibo.”

When contacted, spokesman of the police in the state, DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the report without providing details.
