Gunmen have reportedly kidnapped Mr Shammah Yakubu, a lecturer at Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic (IMAP), Lafia, Nasarawa State.
Yakubu, who lectures in the Department of Business Administration and Management, was kidnapped by gunmen on Tuesday around 8:pm.
The victim is the Director of the Consultant Unit of the institution.
Daily Trust learnt that he was kidnapped while returning home from work along the Shabu area of Lafia North Development Area of the state.
A top official of the state-owned institution who pleaded for anonymity confirmed the incident to our correspondent.
He said the security agencies in the state had been contacted about the development.
He said no information had been received from his abductors, but his relatives had been informed about the scenario.
