City & Crime gathered that the hoodlums stormed his residence, destroyed the doors and windows before gaining access to him in his bedroom, from where they whisked him away after a scuffle that left him with a hand injury.

The said naval staff was reported to be preparing to depart for his station in Abuja on Tuesday morning before the unfortunate incident.

A source from the family stated that shortly after the naval officer was overpowered and taken to an unknown destination by his assailants, the kidnappers called, demanding N3 million.

His wife, Juliana Ida Musa, narrated her ordeal, saying her husband received a cut on one of his hands during a struggle with his abductors, adding that he was taken away bleeding profusely.

The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Williams Ayah, said the command was yet to be informed of the incident and promised to confirm it with the relevant DPOs.
