The Chairman of Pentecostal Fellowship Association of Nigeria (PFN), Kaduna State, Apostle Emmanuel Egoh Bako and his wife, Cindy Bako, have been kidnapped by gunmen at their residence in Albarka, Fadan Kagoma of Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
They were Friday evening kidnapped alongside one identified only as Douglas around eight o’clock, Daily Trust gathered.
Apostle Bako, who is the owner of Good News Power Base Church in Kafanchan, is also the Secretary of Southern Kaduna Christian Leaders Association (SKCLA).
The Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Reverend John Joseph Hayab, confirmed the incident to newsmen on Saturday.
Rev. Hayab, who described Apostle Bako as a very strong member of Jema’a network, a father of many, a front runner of peace, justice and unity in Southern Kaduna, called on security agencies to help ensure their release from their abductors.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Kaduna Command, ASP Mohammed Jalige, confirmed the incident to our reporter.
He said the policemen deployed to the area were carrying out investigations in order to secure the release of those abducted.
