Eight persons have been reportedly kidnapped by yet to be identified gunmen in Edo state.
It was gathered that the victims were kidnapped while traveling between Okhuessan and Emu in Esan South East Local Government Area of the state.

An eyewitness disclosed that the gunmen emerged from a nearby bush and forced a red bus to a stop before dispossessing the occupants of the vehicle of their belongings.
The source said the occupants of the bus were travelling from Ubiaja community to their various destinations when the gunmen accosted the vehicle.
He said the gunmen after dispossessing the passengers of their belongings freed all males passengers and three aged women while all the female passengers between the age of 30 and 40 were taken away.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Chidi Nwabuzor, said he was yet to be briefed on the development.
