Gunmen on Saturday invaded a Fulani settlement at Rubochi in Kuje Area Council of the FCT, shot one person on the leg and abducted two boys.
A resident of the area simply identified as Suleiman told our reporter that, “The Fulani camp is just a few metres away from the Rubochi Police Station, and as the gunmen were shooting, the police responded by shooting into the air to scare them. But even with that, they succeeded in whisking away two boys.”

An executive of the Rubochi branch of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) who preferred anonymity confirmed the incident to our reporter on the telephone on Wednesday, adding that, “We are yet to establish contact with the kidnappers.”
The spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, DSP Adeh Josephine, did not pick several calls put across to her on the incident up till the time of filing this report.
