Gunmen on Thursday stormed Ahun community in Oro Ago, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State and rustled 15 cows after attacking a Fulani herder, Muhammadu Bello, and leaving him unconscious.
The injured herder was resuscitated and taken to the Oro Ago Police Division by the Miyetti Allah Vigilante Group in the area. Speaking on the development, the spokesman of NSCDC, Kwara Command, Babawale Zaid Afolabi, said, “The cattle rearer was badly injured and nearly lost his life after he went unconscious following the impact of the matchete used on him. He has been taken to the hospital for proper medical treatment.
