Gunmen, on Wednesday night, invaded the residence of a former Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Hon Damishi Sango, in the Danwal area of Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State.
They killed two security personnel before taking away their rifles.

The attackers, according to an eyewitness, also injured two other persons.
When contacted, the spokesman of the state’s police command, Ubah Gabriel, confirmed the incident, saying the injured people had been rushed to the hospital for treatment.
He, however, could not ascertain whether or not the rifles of the affected officers were taken away.
He said: “The Command is aware of the incident at Riyom and the victims have been rushed to the hospital where they are receiving treatment.
“I am not aware yet whether they were dispossessed of their rifles.
“CP just left the scene of the crime. A team of detectives and intelligence officers have already commenced investigation and manhunt for the criminals.
“The former minister and his family are not hurt.”
