Gunmen have reportedly abducted a cook from the residence of a Catholic priest in Aho community in Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State.
Residents told newsmen that the gunmen on Saturday night broke into the home of the priest in charge of St Mary Immaculate Church in Aho community and went away with the female cook.

The Chairman of Ogbadigbo LGA, Samuel Onu, confirmed the incident to journalists in Makurdi.
He said, “Yes, there was an attack yesterday (Saturday) evening, some people came and took away the priest’s cook.
“The incident has been reported to the police and the situation in the area is calm now because army officers came to the place from a nearby checkpoint.”
Meanwhile, spokesperson of the Benue State Police Command, SP Catherine Anene, said she was yet to get information about the incident.
