Gunmen, in the wee hours of Monday, abducted a traditional ruler in Tal Chiefdom in Pankshin Local Dovernment Area of Plateau State.
Alhaji Dabo Gutus, the Ngolong Tal, a third class chief, was said to have been abducted around 1 am on Monday.

A resident of the chiefdom said people were still trying to contact the abductors.
Prince Dakup Ezra, a member, representing Panshin South State Constituency, called for calm on the issue, saying that the safe return of the chief is paramount.
