A resident of the village said the gunmen were suspected to be on a reprisal mission following the arrest of five of their suspected informers by security agents some days ago.

“They are here for reprisal attacks because they are not happy that their informants’ identities were revealed to the security agents which led to their arrest,” he said.

He added that the security agents might have also used tracking device to trail the informants in a hamlets near Kafin Soli.

He said the bandits have attacked the village for about five times as a result of the information they were obtaining from their informants.
