Armed men have invaded a community in Shiroro local government area of Niger and abducted 20 people.
It comes hours after suspected bandits attack Kagara town, the headquarters of Rafi local government area.
It was gathered that the armed bandits invaded Adagbi village in Galkogo district in Shiroro in the early hours of Thursday with no casualties confirmed
According to a source, the bandits stormed the village in their usual style on motorcycles, shooting in the air.
Villagers fled to avoid abduction. Most of the abducted were women.
Police could not be reached for comment.
