The Southern Senators Forum has urged the security agencies to redouble their efforts and arrest the country’s drift into a state of anarchy.
The forum’s chairman, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, stated this in a statement while reacting to the gruesome murder of a former presidential aide, Ahmed Gulak.

He described the killing as a national disaster and signal that the country’s insecurity has permeated every section of the nation.
“We believe that the perpetrators of this heinous crime that had again brought Nigeria to a calamitous situation should be nabbed and brought behind bars to face the consequences of their tragic actions,” he said.
