The gubernatorial candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Mai Mala Buni, has won his polling unit in the governorship and state House of Assembly elections.
The collation officer of Buni Lawanti ward at Phase One, Damaturu, Anthony A. Okeke, said the APC candidate got 162 votes against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Umar Iliya Damagum that polled 22 votes.
