GTEXT Homes targets 25,000 houses before 2035

GTEXT Homes is planning to provide 25,000 houses to Nigerians before the year 2035.
Stephen Akintayo, the Chairman of GTEXT Holdings, disclosed this during the launching of Jasper Hillview Estate – one of its estates – in Abuja recently.
He said: “We are targeting 25,000 green and smart homes for Nigerians before the year 2035.”
While disclosing that the company has numerous estates across the country, Akintayo said its third and fourth estates in Abuja would be launched soon.
Speaking about the new estate, he said it is in two phases with the first phase already sold out.
“The estate will be powered by solar energy. It will not be connected to the national grid.
“Every one of our estates has a mini-hospital where residents can seek immediate medical attention when in need.
“Our estate must give a lifestyle and all basic infrastructure. We are building a community and not just houses,” said the Chairman of GTEXT Holdings.
He also said the wastes generated in the estate would be converted to gas for the use of residents.
Farouq Usman, CEO of GTEXT Homes, said the estate sits on two and a half hectares of land.
He said there were Three-bedroom with Boys’ quarters, Four-bedroom with Boys’ quarters, Four-bedroom Pent House and Five-bedroom semi-detached buildings amongst others.
Mike Okiro, a former Inspector-General of Police and a non-executive director in the company, said GTEXT was bringing innovation into real estate.
He, however, charged the company to make its homes affordable for all Nigerians.
