An entrepreneurship group, Necas Network of Entrepreneurial Women (NNEW), has set a target to help women entrepreneurs overcome their challenges to ensure business growth.
The chairperson of NNEW, Dr. Amina Zanna Ibrahim, who stated this in Abuja during the oganisation’s networking programme tagged ‘Meet and Greet’ said, there were women amongst them looking for production facilities, some for retail outlets, and others for funds to expand their businesses.

She added that whatever the challenge, they should share with the group as it is ready to take it up and make sure they sought solutions to the issues.
Dr. Ibrahim also said the programme was to help women set business targets for the year and see how NNEW could help them achieve their goals.
“This year is a year for solutions for all of us. We cannot be where we were last year because it is time for growth. Let’s share our challenges and get solutions so our businesses can be better in 2021,” she urged.
The National Secretary, Federation of Women Association in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (FEDWIM), Mrs. Rose Gyar, also said the association was partnering with the Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, Mariam Katagum, to help women access the Agric-Business Small and Medium Enterprises Investment Scheme (AGSMEIS) loan.
