A coalition of youth organisations in Nasarawa State has expressed support for the proposed conversion of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Keffi to a teaching hospital for the Federal University Lafia.
Malam Muhammad Lawal, convener of the coalition and leader of North Central, Arewa Youth Assembly for Good Leadership (AYAGL), declared the support in a statement on Sunday in Akwanga Local Government, Nasarawa State.

It will be recalled that the Minister of Health, Dr Osage Ehanire, recently disclosed the federal government’s plan of upgrading FMC Keffi to a teaching hospital.

He stated that FMC Keffi has the medical experts and facilities that would facilitate the smooth take-off of the proposed teaching hospital.
