The proposed boarding school, it stated, aimed to cater to the increasing demand for quality education infused with Islamic teachings.

The Amirah noted that Crescent Schools, founded by MLC in 1981, had been instrumental in producing skilled professionals who contributed significantly to society.

The new boarding school, situated on a 1.5-hectare acquired in 2002, will accommodate 500 students and feature state-of-the-art facilities, including classrooms, administrative offices, hostels, a mosque and recreational areas.

His Royal Highness, Khalifah Muhammadu Sanusi II, the 14th Emir of Kano, will serve as the keynote speaker at the fundraising event.
