Group protests APC assembly primary election in Keffi

This was contained in a communiqué signed and read by the leader of the group Solomon Samuel after its meeting in Keffi, yesterday.
According to Solomon, the primary election was marred by irregularities; disenfranchising the sitting member in the assembly, Othman Bala Usman, from participating in the election.
He explained that after the primaries, a letter of appeal was filed to the appeal panel set up by the party but no action was taken as regards the issue.
The leader also alleged that the present flag-bearer of the party, Musa Ali lacked the vocal power to represent the people of the constituency, hence, should relinquish the ticket to Othman Bala Usman who has performed in the last four years.
He however, vowed that over 6,000 members of the APC would dump the party if adequate measures are not taken to resolve the issue.
