Nigeria Solution Group has organised a forum for uniting Nigerian youths and preparing them for leadership roles in the future.
President of the group, Mr Ekpa Stanley-Ekpa, at the event at the weekend in Abuja, said the national youth leadership forum, had numerous members across the country.
“We want to mobilize the youth to participate in governance by bringing together youths from all youth organizations in the country and encourage them to be active in leadership roles,” he said.
He noted that the youth faced challenges such as age limit and cost of governance in aspiring to leadership positions, calling on the government to address the challenges for the nation’s development.
Mr Nda-Isaiah, the Chairman of the Leadership Group, in his speech, said Nigerians should insist on the caliber of leaders they want by participating well in leadership recruitment process.
“For meaningful development to take place in Nigeria, we must all pay attention to what is happening in different states. Because you are not interested in politics does not mean that politics will not be interested in you; you will be affected by political decisions; good or bad,’’ he said.
